We regret to inform you that Tony passed away peacefully on the 3rd September. Tony had been a member of HGC for an impressive 47 years. He played regularly, was hugely popular and will be missed by so many of his friends here. Our sympathies go to his wife Ann and daughter Elizabeth. There will be a celebration of Tony’s life to be announced in due course.

Hole 9

Pro's tip

A long testing par 4. Avoid the 2 fairway bunkers off the tee. You will then be left with a long second shot into a green which slopes from back to front and slightly left to right. If the pin is at the back avoid going back down the slope.
