We regret to inform you that Tony passed away peacefully on the 3rd September. Tony had been a member of HGC for an impressive 47 years. He played regularly, was hugely popular and will be missed by so many of his friends here. Our sympathies go to his wife Ann and daughter Elizabeth. There will be a celebration of Tony’s life to be announced in due course.

Hole 14

Pro's tip

The tee shot should be aimed up the left hand side of a left to right sloping fairway. The hole is a dog-leg right to left with a blind second shot over the corner of the hill. The leaves a short pitch to a green that slopes front to back with bunkers guarding the right and left sides.
