We regret to inform you that Tony passed away peacefully on the 3rd September. Tony had been a member of HGC for an impressive 47 years. He played regularly, was hugely popular and will be missed by so many of his friends here. Our sympathies go to his wife Ann and daughter Elizabeth. There will be a celebration of Tony’s life to be announced in due course.

Pro's tip

A driver or 3 wood off the tee to a generous fairway will leave a fairway wood or long ion to the green. The second shot should be aimed slightly left to feed into the green while avoiding the short left bunker.
