We regret to inform you that Tony passed away peacefully on the 3rd September. Tony had been a member of HGC for an impressive 47 years. He played regularly, was hugely popular and will be missed by so many of his friends here. Our sympathies go to his wife Ann and daughter Elizabeth. There will be a celebration of Tony’s life to be announced in due course.

The Club House

The Grade II listed Fixby Hall was built as a private house in the mid 18th Century. It contains a number of public rooms each with distinctive character and is a magnificent venue for corporate events, conferences, private parties and weddings.

Eating at Fixby, whether it is a bar snack after golf or a gourmet dinner in the elegant dining room is always an enjoyable experience. Extensive a la carte, hot and cold buffet and snack menus are available.
