We regret to inform you that Tony passed away peacefully on the 3rd September. Tony had been a member of HGC for an impressive 47 years. He played regularly, was hugely popular and will be missed by so many of his friends here. Our sympathies go to his wife Ann and daughter Elizabeth. There will be a celebration of Tony’s life to be announced in due course.

Hole 15

Pro's tip

Long hitters should take a fairway wood off the tee to lay up short of the gorse on the right and bunkers on the left. The second shot is uphill to a two tier green with a severely sloping front so plenty of club is essential.
